1. About Us

Syllabi Limited (company number: 16039309), trading as Syllabi, Syllabi Education, or Syllabi Tuition, is a UK-registered company providing online educational services for GCSE students.

Throughout these Terms:

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Syllabi Limited

  • “You”, “Customer”, “Student” refers to the purchaser and/or student using the service

By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Our Services

We provide subscription-based access to an online education platform which may include:

  • Live online GCSE group lessons

  • Lesson recordings

  • Assessments and practice questions

  • Learning resources (notes, workbooks, study systems)

  • WhatsApp support for academic help

  • Optional onboarding materials and calls

 

Access is delivered via an online dashboard (currently hosted on Thinkific) and WhatsApp communication.

3. Eligibility

Our services are intended for:

  • GCSE-level students

  • Parents or guardians purchasing on behalf of a student

 

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to the purchase and use of the service.

4. Subscription, Pricing & Payments

  • Our services are sold on a monthly subscription basis

  • Prices depend on subjects and package selected

  • Payments are processed monthly via Stripe

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled

 

You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until cancellation.

5. Delivery of Access

  • Access to the platform is typically granted within 10 minutes of purchase

  • Login details, onboarding videos, and booking links may be sent via WhatsApp

  • Access issues must be reported promptly so we can resolve them

 

Failure to check WhatsApp messages or emails does not constitute non-delivery.

6. Refund Policy & 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of first payment.

Full Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days provided:

  • The request is made in writing

  • There is no excessive use or abuse of the service

 

Refunds are intended for customers who wish to assess whether the service is suitable, not for those who primarily consume the service with the intention of cancelling.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued at our discretion where:

  • A subject is removed from a multi-subject subscription

  • A student switches from live lessons to recordings-only access

 

Refunds are calculated based on remaining service value.

No Refunds After 14 Days

After the 14-day period:

  • No refunds are issued for time already used

  • Cancellation only stops future billing

7. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time

  • Cancellation applies to future billing only

  • Access remains active until the end of the current paid period

Cancellation requests must be made via written notice or confirmed communication.

8. No Guaranteed Results

Educational outcomes depend on many factors, including:

  • Student effort

  • Attendance

  • Engagement

  • Prior knowledge

While we provide structured support and teaching, we do not guarantee specific grades or exam results.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share login details with unauthorised users

  • Record, redistribute, or resell our content

  • Disrupt lessons or misuse WhatsApp support

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials, lessons, recordings, resources, and systems are the intellectual property of Syllabi Limited.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence for educational use only.

  • Support availability may vary outside normal working hours

12. Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, you agree to:

  • Contact us in writing

  • Allow us reasonable time to investigate and resolve the issue

Unauthorised chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of access.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the previous billing period

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or where prohibited by UK law.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms or modify the service from time to time.
Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
